    Discount Hobby Warehouse (DHW) has been in business since 1972 and in 2022 has hit 50 years of being San Diego's Hobby Store of choice. It has been under the same ownership for about 40 years, so you can be sure that we provide great service and offer only quality items at affordable prices!

    The Owner, John Weaver has been in the hobby industry since 1983. It’s his experience in the hobby industry that makes DHW stock only the best and quality items.

    DHW started its’ routes as "West Coast Hobbies”. Once having the largest indoor & outdoor racetrack in all of San Diego.

    DHW has more than 12,000 unique in-stock items. Everything you can think of in the Hobby universe. If you don’t find it online or in the store, we can custom order it for you!

    DHW is an exclusive supplier of R/C devices. Multiple R/C vendors have chosen DHW as their exclusive store supplier. These included Diamond models and Berg Controllers and Receivers.
