The RMS Titanic is a British ocean liner built for the White Star Line shipping line. The launch took place on May 30, 1911 at the Harland and Wolff shipyard. It was one of the most spectacular sea disasters of the 20th century. Technical data: displacement (full): 46300t, length: 269m, width: 29.41m, draft: 10.5m, maximum speed: 24w, crew: 892 people and 1324 passengers.
