DESCRIPTION:
The Cuirassiers, who had abandoned their breastplates in 1798, wore a white coat with the distinctive regiment colors marked on the collars. The Prussian Cuirassiers rode selected strong and impressive horses and they were armed with straight blades. The Cuirassiers reproduced in the kit were the pride of heavy cavalry regiments of Prince Hohenlohe’s Army that faced the French troops of Napoleon during the Battle of Jena-Auerstadt in October 1806.
